The Return of...

After not one but two disastrous attempts I am please to announce that my flapjack baking mojo is back...




....Long may it stay!

Funny, I always thought flapjacks were a pancake. I have a similar recipe called Oatmeal Bars but it doesn't use the syrup. I learnt after the first time to use parchment. I lift the whole thing out of the pan to cut it. I have added corn flour to my recipe to make it stick better as it seems to crumble too easily. I guess the syrup would aid in that area. I will try that.
