We recently had the pleasure of minding Rascal for a week. When I told Joules we were minding a rat for a week he thought I had finally lost my marbles, Dillon said he was going nowhere near the rat and Ben was a little bit afraid. By the end of the week Rascal had five new fans...can anyone guess what Mollie would like for her birthday?

I don't know what Mollie wants for her birthday, but I'll have a Ratsak gift pack thanks.
Oh no,Mollie! That´s not a nice birthday gift to her!
I must laugh about willow´s comment...
Joules is very brave I think I would be worried it would poo all over me. If Mollie gets a rat will she look after it!!! Bet you end up with all the work.
Remember what happened when you had a guinea pig!!!!
Willowtree how could you!
Steffi and Mum, she was gorgeous and so cute. Rats are actually quite clean...for all the time she spent out of the cage she only poohed and wee'd once, unlike the guinea pig.
A Jack Russell, and a shotgun?
Very few people realize that rats are very clean animals and do make nice pets. He's a cutie.
Wow, you're braver than I am, I don't think I would want to take care of one even for a few days!
Lisa
I wish you'd told me sooner, I would have sent you my cat! :)
Yeah, very cute! I'm a little skittish around little animals like that, but he is very cute.
Hmm, regarding your recent post, I'll be she wants a block of tofu. And a cat.
EEEEEK!
I'll stick with my rat attackers (cats)
I hear they make good pets. I'll let you go first ;)
Oh Rascal you are a cutie!
I had a friend who had a couple of them and they were pretty clean. I just couldn't really get past the rat thing. They were good pets though.
We minded the school rates once when the boys were little. They had babies and we were overrun with them.
Will it be a vegetarian rat?
he does look kind of cute!!
Welcome back!!
is she going to get it???
ratatouille?
Well, he looks cute. But I don't know if I could get over the fact that he's a rat!
once you get past the whole rat thing, they're supposed to be great pets!! rascal looks cute...we have a skittish gerbil who never gets out of the cage at all!! ;)
ps - welcome back!!
...a mouse trap?
Cheese? hahaha
oh no no no dont do small furry creatures! hope you manage to talk Mollie out of having one of them!
No...... I would definitley drqaw the line at rates and snakes...... Even watching ratatuoille gave me the shudders at times!!!!
I just can't get past the rat on Joule's shoulder. My first instinct is to say 'Ick!'...but maybe rats are sweet. I dunno....
Rats!! I better let not let my boys see this and give them any ideas.....;-)
He doesn't look so bad.
I had a hamster once, and she was very cute, but rats have always made me a little squeamish. I hear they make great pets though.
No...Nothing would ever induce me to have a rat to stay. They have good pest controllers in the Forest of Dean though if you need some help when the first flush of romance on the rat front wears off....
My Sister in Law had a rat and its red eyes kinda freaked me out. But apparently it was a very nice pet.
My girls are wanting a rat, or a mouse or a gerbil or any small rodent they can get their hands on. I have said nothing smaller than a bunny, which they each have outside.
Well, I clicked over here without knowing it and let me say Rascal is one groovy little guy! My Rupert and he would get along famously! I see a lot of my friends are regulars here! Please excuse me while I go and strangle WT. The shit! (He likes cats!) Really I don't mind cats either, but Ratsak????? He deserves a beating for that one!
Rats are the most wonderful loving little pets! You should so get one!
