If you find some interesting, small green grains on your daughters recently cleaned floor you may consider using your senses to work out what the aforementioned green grains are.
You can see that they are green, sparkly, sherbet like grains.
They are inanimate so you can't listen to them.
You may smell them but if you've a bad sense of small like me that won't help.
Touch them and yes they feel like sherbet.
BUT
Do not taste them....
You may gag and feel like vomiting, you may then half fall down the stairs and nearly break bones in your rush to get a glass of water.
My advice would be to wait for your daughter to get home and ask her what said green grains are to which she may reply 'oh yes, I spilt magic sand everywhere'.
If you're even more unlucky she'll repeatedly ask 'why did you eat it' and laugh!

Oh....... Beccy I laughed!!! Poor you.
YEAH!!! Why did you EAT it? :D
It really is a bit worrying how, once you have kids, any fussiness about what you eat goes out of the window isn't it!? I confess I have eaten mauled (possibly regurgitated) biscuits, cake, etc,leftovers/spillages from the younger ones.....and to think we are quite health conscious about what they eat!!! Though I have hesitated once or twice when eating spilt raisins found on the floor!
Ha, I laughed, too!
(Now if she had eaten it you would have asked her WHY :)
I have now learned never to taste something that is on the floor. Especially if I don't know what the substance is. Thank you oh great teacher.
oh GAG!!! You poor lady.
I'll take your lesson and learn from it!!!
I laughed too, poor you! Yuck!
Beccy now what did I teach you as a child you have clearly forgotten!!
I guess I know what to get you for Christmas. :) No pie for you, just sherbert.
YOU DID WHAT you ATE IT omg WHY! but wow thanks for the link to the sweetie store yummmy
I've done worse...I thought I was chewing on a raisin!
I'd like to know WHAT you thought it was !
OH NO, beccy! Sorry I had to laugh!
Just to let you know, I can't smell anything very well either, and I'd have done the same thing!
We've all done it! :)
YUK!
Ikk! We've got a trial size of that stuff around here somewhere. I'll make sure not to eat it!
And it was so tempting....
These children are just here to mess with our minds (and eyesight) - funny post. See ya.
Arrrgghh! I was alright until I read misslionheart's comment!!
Your problem was that you forgot the bread, sandwiches are really quite nice.
Oh, and yes...why did you eat something that was on your daughter's floor?
blergh. poor you, becky.
oh, poor sweet Beccy! you didn't!
Just think of all the experiences the childless miss out on ;)
I got your strikeouts working.
Oh Beccy, this is hilarious. However, magic sand is very cool - I wouldn't eat it, but it is a lot of fun!
I would have to concur with your daughter as well. I guess you can just chalk this up to a lesson learned:
Do not eat unknown materials found on daughter's floor.
LOL
I would worry about a fluorescent green mouse running around the house
i think she got you back good and proper
I thought only toddlers put everything in their mouth to figure out what it is!!!! :)
I'm with catwoman, I would never have considered putting it into my mouth. Yuck!!
Well, I would have tasted it too, I'm afraid. But ACK - it would have grossed me out to realise it wasn't sherbert, lol.
lol, never ever eat anything that you find on the floor....
ask someone else to ;-)
oh yeah, I remember this one, Thanx for giggle, again. :)~
LOL! If it were sherbert it would have melted.
