Help?

I have to dress up in fancy dress on Friday night for a party at the tennis club and being the competitive type I want to look good but I just don't know what to do. I don't have to dress up in a Halloween theme, anything will do. So I'm looking for ideas, it has to be easy yet impressive, can you help me...please.

wear a white tee-shirt and paint a yellow circle on the front.

then put on some devil horns (would be nice to have a pitchfork, as well)

you'll be a deviled egg!

I take it you don't want to wear the same dress as the James Bond-theme party, seeing that is was so recent?

Man, I've got nothing, I'm afraid... Can you borrow something else from your mom in time?

You could go as Anna Kournikova, shouldn't take too much work!

God knows I don't have any ideas. My theme is usually simple elegance - not that it always works for me, but that is my motto.

Princess Leia as Jabba the Hut's slave girl.

Plaid skirt, bobby socks as a Catholic School Girl.

Princess Pirate Wrench.

The Queen of England

Just don't do what my best friend in college did - tied a baby doll with panty hose and let it dangle beneath her legs with some red food coloring- she went as a Miscarriage.

Aside from a little black dress, which I know you just wore, and red (for me) is too flashy, something dark navy/white, or a pale blue. I'm sure you'll look exquisite in what ever you choose.

I'm going to fancy dress this Saturday too. I'm basically wearing an angel costume but the twist is to rip your sleeves, add a few plasters and fake bruises, make your halo wonky and be a "fallen angel" - hoping people get it. It was super easy to make.
Good luck - let us know what you go as.

just thought of another very easy one I saw once black t-shirt with phrases stuck all over it = stream of consciousness

but it isn't very Halloweeny - sorry!

Brightly coloured trousers and some tubes of msarties to forma sash, a lable on the back and preferably a brightly coloured hat....

Smartie Pants!

o.k....

Read........... Smarties, "form a sash" and label. Otherwise...... as said!

What about an Abba costume!

Belle of St Trinian would be easy to create short skirt, fishnets ripped high heels, plaitsor bunches, white shirt unbuttoned sloppy tie!

i once went as harpo marx. easy: put on a trenchcoat and carry a bicycle horn. you don't have to talk!

the sexiest halloween costume i ever saw was one woman who came as half-black-and-half-white. the makeup must have taken hours; it went right down the middle of her face and straight down her body and back up her back and through the middle of her hair.

but it was very striking.

(i'm more the trenchcoat and bicycle horn type, myself.)

this says NOT halloween right cause people keep giving you costume ideas. go with your best dress and heels, ask your grandma to borrow some of her jewelry and sort through and find something stunningly old fashioned.

wear a mans tuxedo and leave the front open for a little cleavage.

Do it now while you are still young and you don't have to unbutton it very far.
