So we returned home at 7:30pm last night having flown through a lightening storm and I was feeling tired. I rang mum to let her know that Ben we'd returned home safely. Next I checked the messages and there was one which went something like this this:
"Hello this is Paul (Dillon and Mollie's scout leader) we're in hospital with Mollie, don't worry nothing is wrong but she's hurt her foot and needs an x-ray".
I had to wait until until midnight to hear that it does not appear to be broken but she is on crutches...again.

Beccy I can't believe it - what was she doing this time. I think she is actually more accident prone than you were and that's saying something. Anyway glad it's not serious. I take it sh'e not coming home early !!
Ah poor Mollie, and you must be absolutely knackered. Hope you're getting some rest.
Oh my Gosh - your heart must have stopped! I hope she's feeling ok!
not a good message to come home to. glad she'll be ok, but i'm sorry for your stress.
and hers.
Oh dear!! What a pair of mom and daughter.Always getting hurt!
Hope it's not too serious and will be able to recover quickly.Back to Earth Beccy, holidays are over!!:)
Take care,she will be alright.
Oh no! What's it again? Hope she recovers quickly. Take care.
Maybe duct tape that girl to the wall for awhile. Hpe she is feeling better and that you get some much needed rest.
Thanks for the recipe. I can't wait to try it this weekend.
Maybe she feels like crutches are part of her look now?
enidd's with swampwitch - sounds like a plan to her.
What a girl! Just take it as proof that Mollie embraces life and could never be accused of watching it go by. Sometimes, that means a bit of injury, but, oh, what stories she has to tell.
Poor Mollie! At least it's not too bad.
Seems it's a day for the hospital. We're just back from Tallagh after a follow-up on Spuds' broken finger. The Doc says it's not broken after all!
Sheesh! Three hospital visits and a total of 5 hours of waiting to be told it's just bruised...
My friend was there too, with her daughter. She'd torn ligaments in her leg.
Oh no! I hope she's okay! What a terrible message to come home to.
Mollie is clearly a rascal, just like her mother was. Get well soon Mollie, my favourite niece.
That's a terrible thing to hear when you get back home.
You and Mollie are like my son and my husband. There must be such a thing as an accident prone gene. My guys always seem like they are hurting themselves too.
I hope she's feeling better!
Glad you had a good time with your 'Mum'.
TGIF!
Kind of like a Wecome Home message.
Hope all is well.
Oh no,Beccy...poor Mollie!I hope she´s feeling soon better! Our best greetings to her!
Mum, according to her it wasn't her fault as two people dropped a canoe on her foot.
Hellojed, although I wasn't worried about her (I knew she was in good hands and I spoke to her and she was fine) I couldn't sleep untill I'd heard how she was.
Deborah, my heart stopped for a split second then he said she was fine so I relaxed.
Thanks Laurie, knowing Mollie I shouldn't have been surprised.
Asha, it gives me something to blog about!
Thanks Alfaking.
Swampy, that's what her tennis coach wanted to do when he heard where she was going.
Catwoman, if that's the case I'll take no credit for her sense of fashion.
Beccy's with enidd!
Great positive thinking Marmite Breath.
John, I think she was enjoying the attention the three leaders were giving her and the pizza she ate in the waiting room!
Misslionheart I was eight hours in Tallaght once so I know what you've been through.
Nikki at least it didn't require us to take the ten hour round trip to fetch her.
Sam, me rascal? Never.
TGIF indeed Christine.
Beckie, I think I could have done without a welcome home message.
Steffi, thanks. I'm looking forward to seeing them both on Sunday evening as I'm sure you are looking forward to the return of your family.
I hardly think hearing a message start like "We're in the hospital, but don't worry" is actually going to help you not worry!
Luckily she will be fine, but what a way to end your trip!
I'm pleased it isn't serious. Were the doctors cuter at this hospital than your usual?
Wow! That waiting must've seemed like an eternity! Hope she's back to normal real soon! :)
Maybe your Mollie can give my Liam some hints on injuring himself- he's desperate for a cast or crutches. So far all he's managed to do is get himself stitches.
I hope Mollie is alright now - nothing serious. Oh poor girl...
Poor Mollie! Hope she is doing ok and not in too much pain.
Oh wow Beccy must have been kind of scary! I'm glad she didn't break anything though. She needs to go easier on herself!
Dear beccy. I hope everything's OK. Glad you got home safely - I hate flying through bad weather.
Oh what a scary message... I hope she is alright!!
What a frightening message to receive. Glad nothing was broken!
what a welcome home! Poor dear. I hope that she will be okay!
makes you wonder how we ever survive motherhood with all those heart stopping moments.
That's a pretty scary message to get! Hope she's ok!
OH NO!! Poor Mollie!
And hey - my Harry Potter book was sitting here waiting for me to return, but I can't get to it yet (too much after-vacation mayhem to catch up on.)
Oh my goodness! I'm glad her foot wasn't broken. That would sure have taken a bit out of summer. I hope she heals up soon. :)
