The Postman Rings More Than Twice...

I must be the luckiest person this week, and as I'm still suffering from a dodgy stomach (I thought it was Delhi belly but there is a very unpleasant virus making its rounds) the arrival of three parcels yesterday really cheered me up. From Frannie I received my prize from a blog competition including a travel cup and some delicious homemade cocoa powder which tastes incredible. Frannie also included a soft toy for Ben who was thrilled. Emma sent me some beautiful handmade cards and more cocoa powder. Emma claims not to be able to draw or cut straight and said she got tipsy whilst she was making them. I think they are of the highest quality and her writing is brilliant. Finally CPA Mom sent me some delicious candy, despite my dodgy tummy I managed to scoff the peppermint cream because I adore them. You should have seen how many I bought home from the US last year.

After my parcel overdose yesterday I was thrilled to receive another parcel today from Steffi. Steffi is German and lives in Hamburg. She makes the most amazing clothes and has the most eclectic assortment of material. I am in so much awe of her talent. Steffi has a daughter a similar age to Mollie and when Mollie commented on how cool Nathalie's clothes were Steffi offered to make her a top. Steffi very kindly made Mollie a top and a whole lot of other clothes which Mollie has already tried on (the parcel only arrived an hour ago). She is such a lucky girl to have received a whole new wardrobe and will be the best dressed girl in France, Ireland and England this summer. Steffi also included some sweets and a cute soft toy, it really does feel like Christmas here!

Wow you are very lucky and especially Mollie. Steffi is a brilliant seamtress she ought to set up an internet business.

Homemade cocoa I could just drink a cup and with a dodgy tummy you shouldn't be eating peppermint cream you should be saving it for your mother!!

Mum, you'll be pleased to hear my tummy wasn't too impressed with the mint but it was worth it!

Sarah, must be my dynamic personality!!! Actually Steffi hasn't received any flapjacks yet, I'm working on a parcel for her.

Dodo, swap clothes for paper? I think I'll pass.
