The End is Nigh!

After five years at college Joules in finally on the home stretch. Exams next Wednesday and Friday. The big project due in the following Monday with a presentation a few days later. To give him time to study without having to make the hour and a half round trip into the office, Dillon offered to take Ben to lunch in McDonald's then to the cinema to see Spiderman 3. Mollie and I planned to go shopping. Just as Mollie and I were leaving Dillon rang to remind us that Ben had to be accompanied by an adult. I arranged to meet the boys at the cinema and Mollie and I had enough time to visit the bead shop before heading to the cinema.

We had great fun choosing beads for various different necklaces and bracelets we want to make and left just in time to make it to the cinema before Spiderman started. I have to admit that I was dreading watching this as I wouldn't be a Spiderman fan. I even considered sneaking out but Dillon was worried in case anyone saw me. In the end I was pleasantly surprised and thought this movie much better than the first two although it was a bit long.

Dear beccy. Beautiful beads! I hope they turn into lovely jewellery. I was very disappointed by Spiderman II so glad to hear that Spiderman III was pleasantly surprising!

I don't know if you mentioned what Joules is studying for? What will his degree be? Wish him the BEST of luck on his exams!!!!

I have to wait to see Spiderman 3 - the kids are just a tad too young still to see it. BUT - I am anxiously waiting to take them to Shrek 3 (next weekend, I think)

I think it's so cool that you have a new beading hobby. My mom started a new beading hobby a year or so ago. Must be in the air.
Good luck to Joules!!

Clearly you are a much better mother than I... I don't think I could sit through Spiderman 3.

Or 1 or 2 for that matter!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Liam saw Spiderman 3 with his dad and prmptly told William and I the entire plot.

Congrats to Joules, and I too wonder what he is doing in college.

I love beads, but don't have the patience for stringing them. Or the dexterity for that matter.

Well Done Joules!
We have a bead shop around the corner from my work and it is great, an absolute treasure trove! They are great help if anything needs fixed too!

Congratulations to Joules...you'll ALL feel relief, I imagine ;).

And hand-made beaded necklaces...**sigh** I just had the most delightful memory of stringing necklaces when I was in junior high...:). Will you post pictures of yours when they're complete? Please?? :)
