Recovery Tuesday

Thank you everybody who posted a recipe for yesterdays Fun Monday. You all rose to the challenge, have supplied me with plenty of tempting dishes to try out on my family and I had a few laughs at some of the alternative recipes!

After my busy day hosting yesterday I thought I'd leave you with a joke today. It's called how to be a bitch and get away with it!

Jennifer's wedding day was fast approaching.

Nothing could dampen her excitement - not even her parent's nasty divorce.

Her mother had found the PERFECT dress to wear and would be the best dressed mother- of-the-bride ever!

A week later, Jennifer was horrified to learn that her father's new young wife had bought the exact same dress!

Jennifer asked her to exchange it, but she refused. "Absolutely not, I look like a million bucks in this dress and I'm wearing it," she replied.

Jennifer told her mother who graciously said, "Never mind sweetheart I'll get another dress. After all, it's your special day."

A few days later, they went shopping and did find another gorgeous dress.

When they stopped for lunch, Jennifer asked her mother, "Aren't going to return the other dress? You really don't have another occasion where you could wear it.

Her mother just smiled and replied, "Of course I do, dear. I'm wearing it to the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding."

Don't forget enidd is hosting next weeks Fun Monday, she has a great challenge so click over to her to sign up.

Well, if that's not the greatest thing I've heard! Talk about smart, smart revenge!

Absolutely brilliant. We once had a situation when I had bought a dress for my eldest daughter to match her cousins - after discussion with said cousin.

Then the cousin said she didn't want to match ED at the family gathering..............

So I cut down an old dress of mine for ED, and made her a very glam alternative.

Wish I'd thought of this though!!

I've read this before - it is STILL just as good the 2nd time as it was the first.

If I could only learn to be as bitchy. Perfection.

Not a bitch...just a smart, smart woman ! Giggle Giggle.
Quick story:
My friend and her husband separate. He "dates" another gal. Gal buys an expensive Ralph Lauren shirt and gives to my friend's teenage daughter.
My friend, knowing that her husband and "his date" would be at a basketball game, SHE wore the RL shirt with a new pair of slacks to the game.
