Friday's Feast

Name two things that made you smile this week?

Winning our quarter final tennis match on Saturday and the snail Ben drew for an art competition.

Fill in the blank:

Don't you hate it when you go to bed early and the full dishwasher has not been switched on, the crumbs not wiped up and the cake not returned to the cake tin!

When you can't go to sleep, what is your personal remedy to help yourself drift into Lullabyland?

Luckily I'm one of those annoying people who just shuts their eyes and hey presto I'm in the land of nod. On the incredibly rare occasion (once a year maybe) that I can't I picture myself on a secluded beach, by the time I've selected who's joining me on the beach I'm asleep (shame really because I miss out on all the fun)!

Main Course

What is something about which you've always wondered but have not yet found a good answer?

I'm not sure I've always wondered something but just now I'm thinking why do people idolise and want to emulate those super skinny models/actresses/celebrities who resemble a lollipop. That is so not an attractive look.

What is your favorite pasta dish?

That's a hard one, I love pasta but the best pasta dish I've ever eaten was in New York and I can't even tell you the name of the dish or the restaurant. We went there for Sam's 40th birthday so maybe she can remember and help me out.

Can you post Ben's drawing?

I HAVE TO clean the kitchen before going to bed. HATE waking up to a dirty kitchen.

Beccy I am jealous of you know. I wish I could fall asleep like that. But like I've said in my blog I couldn't do that anyway with the kids and their moving about.

They are wobbly things on a headband with beautiful green plastic shamrocks on them that LIGHT UP!!!!

Such taste!!!!

My kids are fighting for them though - of course, but were delighted that there were fluffy dice too, and teh little man AND the do it yourself kit. ED who is 16 isn't bothered - so that's jsut perfect. Thanks Becs!

Frannie, you have a computer unstairs, you lucky thing.

I see Sally has explained John. Where were you during the 1980's?

Enidd I no longer have them so we'll have to hope Sally posts a photo of herself wearing them!

Kila, Ben's picture was homework so it's gone back into school. Hopefully it will come home again.

My4kids, I was a very strict mum, no kids allowed in my bed. I'm just so cranky if I don't get a decent nights sleep.

You're on Sam.

Hope I haven't caused too much agro in your household Sally!

Thanks Karmyn, shame we lost the next day.

Steffi I have to admit that it's not my idea, I'll have to put the link up so others can join in.

Thanks Barbara.

Pamela I am so lucky my other half doesn't find sleeping so easy and is in awe at my ability to nod of 'before your head touches the pillow'!
