Eye Candy

Those of you who read yesterdays post know the answer to the dessert question, for those who didn't read it here it is.

Dessert

What's the first thing you notice about the opposite gender?

Truthfully height, hair and body shape. I like them tall, skinny and dark haired. Although of course I never judge any one on their looks but would spend time getting to know their personality etc etc...

My friend Sally reads my blog almost daily and although she never leaves a comment she often emails me with her thoughts on my blog. Her response to the above was very funny so I thought I'd share it with you (hope you don't mind Sally).

'Re your blog, have read between the lines and have decided the last comment about looks not really mattering and personality mattering is a load of crap and really the reason you would call the town bun ford is because its the buns you look at first in a man...... Come on admit it girl, and I don't blame you. Yes the personality matters after a while but the PHWAOR factor is a definite in that first flush!!!'

This got me thinking am I that shallow and the answer is probably yes. I'm happily married so when eyeing up anyone it is for aesthetic reasons only or eye candy as Sally and I call it.

For the last few weeks a song was continuously playing on the radio that I fell in love with but never managed to hear who the singer/band was. One day I was in the car with Dillon and the song came on again. I told Dillon that I loved the song he said he liked it as well but didn't know the singer/band either. On Saturday Dillon returned home from a day out with friends full of glee as he told me the name of the song. So I hopped over to youtube and found the song only to discover the singer was my idea of eye candy, now if only I could get to know Mikka better...

Nice to know it's not just blokes that go round ogling other people's body parts :)

And no, we're not going to tell you which bit we look at first.

the song?- cute!

the singer?- he's ok-- I go more for the geeky type. (I married a scientist!) he's not bad, though. Just wouldn't be my first choice.

gimme 5 sistah! we both ended up with tall, skinny, dark haired handsome guys.

I don't think I give male eye candy much thought, but if Johnny Depp came calling Fred might have a fight on his hands.

It`s the Tits, MR.X, any woman knows that, then it`s the looks, then the figure, and finally, can she cook!

Beccy, LOL.

Beccy even I knew who this singer is I think they have done this record to death on the radio.

I'll leave you youngsters to your eye candy.

He has a nice set of lips.

What's the name of this guy? I've never heard or seen him before. (of course - I have become musically out of it. I'm sure once my children are older they will keep me filled in with who's who)

(but - I have to say the whole scene with the little girl kind of freaked me out a bit)

We know mr. x.

Frannie I always tell my children the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same thing!

Sam, only Joules is not so skinning now! I told Dillon that his Dad was once as skinny as Mikka, he couldn't believe it and told me to put Joules on a diet!

If Johnny Depp came along you'd have a fight from me as well!

John, you are sooooooo shallow! And I thought you were a gentleman.

Mum I play it to death on my computer!

His name is Mikka Karmyn. The thing with children is that they only fill you in with music they like. Dillon is into rock and heavy metal type music some of which I don't mind but it gets a bit much some times!

It's great to dance to Steffi.

Beccy,
I, too like the tall and dark. Though I have to say, this one doesn't seem to have much of a bum, he's too skinny!
My favorites were JFK,Jr. and Andy Garcia types. Though I did just watch Casino Royale and,for a blonde, Daniel Craig isn't bad!
Of course women look, we're not dead!
