A challenge and a beautiful morning.

Mum is hosting next weeks Fun Monday , you can read about her challenge here.

The collage below is a collection of photographs I took last week when I went for a walk with my friend Sally. Sally is a Dublin girl born and bred and it is fast becoming a weekly tradition where I take her somewhere local for a walk that she has never been. Knocksink Wood is just outside Dublin and there are paths that wind through the trees and follow the river; bridges over the river; small beaches where children can paddle in the summer months, ponds brimming with frogspawn and a National Environmental Education Centre. It was a beautiful, sunny Spring morning and we had a lovely wander before our coffee and scone break.

Beccy these are lovely photos, I remember several nice walks there when the children were younger (envy). Also wasn't this where Dillon's new bike and some clothes were stolen from the car ??

Reminds me of the Doors of Ireland poster that's so popular (over here).

You could put up a photo montage called Derelicks of Dublin and still people would comment.

Nice shots.

Great pictures!
Does it take a long time to do the collages?

So glad you told tales on your friend Sally. I'm ashamed to admit the local places I've never yet visited. (But I will!)

I can not believe how blue the sky is... and I love the collages you do. It's so nice to have so many pictures to see.

Looks like a great place to explore.

That's the place Mum.

It's lovely John.

Spring appears to have deserted us today Asha.

Your welcome Wendy.

Picasa 2 Terri, a few clicks and hey presto!

Looking forward to seeing you in retro Mark!

Matt, now there's an idea...

Thanks Steffi, there are loads of lovely walks nearby.

Seconds Sally.

CC we had a good laugh about the English girl showing the Dublin girl new places. Once, when I'd lived here less than a year, I showed two locals a short cut home from the zoo avoiding the centre of Dublin. They were very impressed.

Catwoman if you ever make it I'll be your tour guide.

Frannie, the collages are an easy way to show lots of photos and quicker to download.

It sure is Karmyn.

Beccy,
Looks beautiful. Now that spring is (a little) in the air I find myself just itching to get outside like this.

Beccy, your photo collage pack a big punch, it's a clever way to combine a number of pictures at once (and yes, I look at each individually, too).

Maybe I should actually spend some time figuring stuff out about pictures...it's just difficult for me to give up reading, though :).

The pictures don't show up for me. Have they been removed or is it my computer.

Thanks Lisa, today is dull and wet, boo hoo.

Robin, it doesn't take long.

Barbara, I've been having trouble with my photos disappearing!
