Fun Monday #4 I love where I live

Marnie was tagged for this weeks Fun Monday and the challenge was to tell her why we love where we live, as she said "I love to learn about different places and I think this is a great way to get to know all of my blogging buddies." As I didn't have the time to write the zillion pages describing why I love where I live and I'm sure you don't want to plough through those zillion pages I decided that pictures speak louder than words. Click on the collage to get a better view.

Beautiful collage for Fun Monday. I think those of us with Irish heritage dream of living in Ireland or at least dream of visiting. I played too. Although as a late entry, I am not on the list. Come over to Mama Said, Papa Said for a visit to Where I Live.

You are just too clever ! I love the collage. Am envious because I don't know how to do that. Like they (whoever they are) say, a picture is worth a 1,000 words. That must mean your picture collage is worth 10,000's of words. Loved this.

I am so jealous, Beccy. I have tried convincing William that if we have to leave Canada we should go to Dublin (not that we could afford it!) but he says no way to living in the Republic. I am a little jealous!

Thank you all for your kind comments.

I have to credit my wonderful sister sam for telling me about picasa, though I still can't do half the things she does! If you download Picasa 2 it stores all your pictures, allows you to collage them and will post them to your blog.

I thought I was being lazy with the collage but there is just too much here to write about so you'll all have to come and visit!

If a picture paints a thousand words.....well, you have the longest "I love where I live" post of ANYONE! :). GREAT collage, I loved seeing Ireland through your eyes. My favorite picture had to be the one of your three on the rock overlooking the ocean...I LOVE the ocean--any ocean!

that's absolutely beautiful :)

Great pics Beccy. We are obviously very alike. We have picnicked in the rain holding umbrellas too! If we set off on a picnic, we will damn well picnic even if it buckets down.

Well of course you went with pictures, you live in Ireland for christ's sake!!!

Great idea of the collage - but I see a common thread in almost all those pictures: Family. And that is probably the Best reason to love where you live.

Ah Barbara you noticed that one.

I love picnics, whatever the weather!

I agree that is a neat idea..
but next year you might have some of our blog faces to add to that.

I want to visit Ireland.
Don't worry, though, it just isn't happening.

Gorgeous children to boot. Pictures do speak louder than words.

That's a fantastic collage! I regret not getting over to Ireland while I was in the UK. It just means I need to make another trip over, hopefully sooner than later! Thanks for sharing!
