Mmmmm Oatmeal Cookies

If you like cookies you will love Caroline's oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies. Even if you don't like oatmeal you may still love them as Mollie and Ben can testify. Neither of them will touch anything with oatmeal in yet pronounced these the most delicious ever! I found that they cooked in seven minutes not the 10-13 minutes the recipe said. Unfortunately my photograph doesn't do them much justice, it was dark by the time they were cooked and the use of the flash spoils the photo!

Beccy, as Sam says I am always effusive over everything you all do so as far as I'm concerned these looks great and if Mollie and Ben think they taste good that's testament enough for me and I wish I was enjoying one with my evening drink
(and I don't mean alcohol).

They go very well with a cup of tea!

I think I'll be baking these soon. They sound delicious.

Hmmph. I am on a diet and taking solace only in cress and other green vegetables. No cookies for me.

Hmm, lamb tails or home-made cookies - an easy choice, I think! These look very yum!

Barbara I really recommend these. I made 36 and left the rest of the mixture in the fridge to make another day. They're tasty both warm from the oven or when cool.

Poor you Sam, it's great having the children because I always have hungry mouths to feed and don't eat too much myself.

Nigel it's no contest, I don't think I could get a lambs tail close to my mouth but give me a nice lamb chop with fresh mint sauce mmmmmm!

Maybe my thermostat is wrong Caroline!

I made these yesterday. I've got cookies for Africa now. I froze half the dough for another day.

That's a good idea Barbara, my dough sat in the fridge for a few days until Joules ate all the cookies while the children were asleep! Ben begged me to make more of his favourites and it was a pleasure to have the dough made up ready.
