Who is nice today?

I have been lucky enough to have been awarded the nice award four times, la bellina mamina (I can't access your site any more, can you help me please?), Heather, Beckie and Laurie. Thank you very much guys and you are all so nice too. This is a hard one as I think all my readers are nice, even John and Willowtree have their soft spots. So I have decided to gift this award to the one person who has been incredibly nice, kind and generous. A few months ago this person sent Mollie some beautiful handmade clothes to wear this summer and last week another parcel turned up on our doorstep. This second parcel not only included more gorgeous clothes for Mollie but piles of clothes for my three nieces. I tell you we will be the best dressed family in Ireland (well the girls will anyway)! Unfortunately my Picasa is not working the last few days so I have to post the pictures individually, here are pictures of Mollie in her clothes.

What a lovely camouflage outfit (excuse the weeds growing).

A bright and bubbly t-shirt. Steffi also sent Mollie the jeans which she loves and has worn daily.

A pretty top (worn yesterday).

Another sun top (worn today).

A long sleeved t-shirt, perfect for those autumn days.

A camouflage t-shirt with beautiful detail of a small cut away on top of the sleeve, (worn at the weekend).

A blouse with beautiful bow detail, (worn to a party last week).

I love the style of this dress and think it really suits Mollie.

These trousers are such fun.

Another pretty blouse.

Finally two lovely cosy fleeces to keep Mollie warm this winter.

Here are some pictures of the clothes Steffi made for my nieces.

Sun tops for Hannah (4) and Ella (nearly 4).

A poncho for Ruth (1) don't you just love the pointy hat.

A beautiful sun dress for Ruth.

A dress and matching trousers for Ruth, I love this material.

Isn't that the cutest hedgehog top for Ruth?

A fleece to match her big cousin Mollie.

Matching dress and trousers for Hannah and Ella.

And matching tops for autumn.

Cosy fleeces for the winter months.

Beautiful sundresses.

So here's a big thank you to the amazing Steffi, you are so incredibly kind, thank you very much, I hope you enjoy your nice matters award.

Steffi's daughter Nathalie also sent Mollie some lovely stuff which Mollie will be blogging about soon.

Rockin' all over the blogosphere...

Blush, blush...Many thanks to the wonderful Christine and Kila who have both nominated me for a Rocking Girl Award. Does that mean they saw me rocking the night away on Saturday night, sipping my vodka and cokes and boogieing on down on the dance floor. Apparently not although I'm sure they'd award me something for my moves!

Christine seems to have more hours in her day than most and her blog covers many different aspects of her life. She has just started a food blog as well as her daily personal blog. Christine nominated me with the following kind words:

...another blogger who just got back from an awesome vacation to France. She takes the most beautiful photos and makes them into gorgeous montages. I love her writing style and her sense of humor. She lives in Ireland, which is one place I’d love to visit one day.

Kila is another amazing mother who manages to fit so much into her busy days I think that she must survive on about three hours sleep. Kila has three boys to run around after and she is studying as well as being involved in her community. I get tired just reading about her busy life.

Now I have to award five other Rocking Girl Blogs (sorry Willowtree and John that counts you out). This is the bit I hate as there are so many of you and I wish I could award you all one but I'm sure the awards will get around to everyone at some point.

My first award goes to my amazing mother, (who else). I started blogging as a way of sharing my daily life with her as we miss each other. I still wish she'd move to the Emerald Isle though.

Sam is also the best sister a girl could have. I am in awe of her blog, the photography and the food she now eats, (you should have seen her as a child, so fussy mum despaired she'd ever eat properly)!

Frannie rocks because she gives so much of herself to help others, always putting them before herself. Sometimes I want to wrap her up in cotton wool and give her a rest from her busy life. When I was on holiday she kept me updated with little comments which I was able to read and keep in touch with her.

enidd is one girl whose posts always make me laugh. Now she has moved to San Francisco I'm really enjoying her humorous posts on life in the US.

Hellojed is a fellow Irish blogger who gave up work to write a novel. I love reading her daily updates on how the novel is coming along, some days are good and others not so. I also love reading about her life in Dublin and the funny links she posts.

Irish Blog Awards

I've just seen that there are awards for Irish bloggers, bloggers from Ireland, bloggers whose great-auntie is Irish or bloggers who like stout! As you can see typically Irish rules for an Irish award. If you'd like to vote click on the link above and nominate.
