Calling all Brownies

No not the edible ones but the ones that come in and clean your house when you're asleep. I have a very important visitor arriving in two days and have just spent the morning cleaning Mollie's bedroom, although according to Mollie she cleaned it yesterday so I'm wondering how she'll account for the two bags of rubbish and two loads of washing I found up there.

I still have the rest of the house to tackle so if there are any volunteers come on over...and yes I have the edible brownies here for all helpers.

THEY COME AND CLEAN YOUR HOUSE!!! Whoa!! Nice brownies! I don't think girl scouts do that here, but come here only to sell their cookies and stuff!:)

I had a book as a kid called "Stories of Fairies, Elves and Little People" I'm pretty sure the brownies were the ones that cleaned up and then made a hearing aid and glasses for the old couple so they could see and hear enough to do their jobs again. I loved those stories!

I would work for brownies. Can I have one every now and then for inspiration?

I remember how frustrated I got with girls and their cleaning up tactics.

I wonder if I can guess who this important visitor is !!!

I wish I had a dish washing fairy. And a laundry one while I'm wishing.

Oh yes,that´s true-sometimes I need a fairy too!

What a coincidence. I spent the entire morning yesterday cleaning Buttercup's bedroom. (serious organization and going through toys). After I finish blogs, I'm off to do the same with Jammin's.

If your little brownies come visit - make sure to send them my way after!

I will come and help, and you don't even need to give me a brownie!

There's no need to panic when your guest is actually the world's most experienced brownie.

I wouldn't mind a few brownies to come in and clean my house too. My kids do a good job of the regular cleaning, it is the organizing and such that I am having trouble with; just a lack of time.

I've got 2 brownies living here but they don't get up and do any work at night. To tell you the truth they don't really do them during the day with out being reminded alot either. I need to show them that story.

Happy Mothers Day to both of you! X

I had no idea there was such a thing as house cleaning brownies. I would like to have some come over to my place as well.

We do not seem to have heard much about this guest of yours but you have had the guest for two whole days and not a mention. Love

I would gladly come clean your house for a free place to stay near to Dublin. I would even scrub the toilet with a toothbrush.

I recently spent 3 hours cleaning Liam's room. It's lucky he wasn't home as the swear words coming out of my mouth were very unpleasant. Under his bed filled half a giant garbage bags. Plus I found at least half of my missing teaspoons. I expect he has the rest hidden in the basement.

When you have finished with those brownies... can you send them over?

Today I was doing a big cleaning on my house and thought "I wish there was some company coming this weekend" - it's like then all the work is worth it. Sure it's worth it for yourself and your family - but since you're going to all the trouble of cleaning up - you kind of like to have a bonus.

Who knows how often I'd get in a "good deep" cleaning if we never practiced hospitality :)

I need me some of those, too. Is there a number you can call? 1-800-brownie?

I don't enjoy cleaning but I do seem to get the most done when I'm under pressure - as in a looming house guest.

Good luck!
