Ben's Birthday

Ben's birthday was nearly two months ago when my computer was broken and I was unable to post. I had promised mum pictures from his party which we held in Fitzone. The children went off for supervised play and we were given a voucher and retired to the bar/cafe where we ate a leisurely lunch and read the Sunday papers. We returned in time for the food and cake (a treasure chest I'd made the previous day), then it was home to open the presents. It had to be the easiest, most relaxing party we've held.

The cake looks good beccy, tell that grandson of mine I don't need to see his tongue~ it's not pretty. They certainly look as though they had a really great time.

I am a huge fan of the cake. And, a place where people corral the kids and you get to go and relax. Sign me up for some of that!

Just noticed you loved Water for Eleplants. I did, too. And, it was one of those that I wouldn't have read were it not for excellent reviews.

I'm pretty sure New Coke never made it beyond North America. But, if you ever see any, I'll pay you to stockpile it for me.

I am so impressed with your cake! What a fantastic idea!
A party where I can skip out on the madness yet be there for the best parts, that is my kind of kids party!
