School's out.

Today is Dillon, Mollie and Ben's last day at school before they have a weeks holiday known as the mid-term break. It's been a long and busy two months since they went back to school so they are really looking forward to their week off. Mollie and Ben were allowed to dress up as a charity fundraiser. The photos didn't turn out too well because the light was bad and they were rushing to catch their bus.

Mollie is a wicked princess.

Ben was going to wear his uniform as he 'doesn't dress up' but I persuaded him to dress up as....

BEN

And yes he did do his button up before he left for school!

Oh my gosh - how cute is Molly? I love that she's an "evil" princess too! And Ben - he doesn't want to dress up - love it. Tell him he can be a homicidal maniac - that was always my brothers "costume" when he didn't dress up! ;-) Have a fun mid-term break!

Kids have minds of their own (so they say) - Mollie is a true girl and Ben is a true boy. Have a good day - see ya.

She doesn't look too 'wicked' to me!
Ben looks cute, is this a new thing not wanting to dress up?

I can't wait for all the great pictures I'm going to get of the kids during Halloween.

Mollie & Ben are so stinking cute. A whole week off from school? Sometimes I miss being a kid.

a transit bus?... just curious.

I didn't even ride the school bus when I was a kid - because I lived within walking distance.
So, I have hard time picturing kids who can handle the bus systems.

OMG Do you have that lime green on your living room walls? My son had his room that color and it was SO bright, the white trim looks good on it though. First time I've seen anyone else with that color on the walls. :)

Mollie looks lovely and I'm sure Ben is enjoying not being in uniform. :)

I wish we had a week break this time of year.

Mollie looks great in her costume. Ben cracks me up - he is such a cutie.

Oh, please email me your lemon cake recipe. I have NO idea what I am going to do with the lemons, but I want it to be good!

A Wicked Princess - perfect!!! I like to add in a bit of evil to the sweet.

My daughter brought home a book from the library about a girl who always dresses up and then for the big costume party comes as herself and no one recognizes her.

I love Mollie's outfit! Abby would die to be able to wear a costume like that to school. I love that Ben went as Ben.

All my nephews and nieces are going to hate me from now on but Mollie looks so much like Dillon in that picture that at first quick glance I thought it was him in drag.

But hang on - I don't get it - in the first paragraph you said they were allowed to "dress up as a charity fundraiser" none of them look much like a charity fundraiser to me.

Dad and I also thought Mollie was looking a lot like Dillon, I love her costume. I laughed at Ben that is so typical of him but I can't make out what he is holding around his neck!

Great kids!...I understand Ben not wanting to dress up. I've always avoided fancy-dress at all cost!

LOL! Let me guess, Ben is a boy!

Cool dress, Mollie!

How glorious that we are able to produce such beautiful offspring.
Oh.
I mean you.
I am offspring-free.
Your kids are killers. (Oh, good lord, not in a Halloween way!)
:D

Love Mollies costume too cute!!
Maddie should do the evil princess thing also it is so here.
Love it that Ben doesn't like to dress up that is too funny.

Too cute! You know, my mother once forced me to dress up because the word was that all kids were dressing in their costumes that day. Only when I got there, many of the kids were waiting to put their costumes on, so I was completey mortified that I was about the only kid with one on when I arrived...
