The Wanderer Returns

I'm back but not yet recovered from my flying visit to Bristol. I had to get up at 4am on Tuesday morning to catch my flight over and I got home at midnight on Wednesday evening. I managed to squeeze in a lot in my short time, that shopping trip where I bought a dress, cardigan and gorgeous boots for the winter as well as lots of craft goodies to start making birthday and Christmas cards. I ate out both nights I was in Bristol which was a real treat for me, drank champagne, bathed in natural spring water and spent some precious hours with Sam. I just wish I could have stayed longer.

Just before I left I was delighted to receive my book swap books from the Anglophile Football Fanatic, she sent me two very different books which I have never read so I'm looking forward to getting them started as well as a magnet to join the collection on my fridge. Many thanks to Emma for organising the swap.

Awesome and what a coincidence.

I sent Outlander to my book swap too. It is a REALLY good book.

Sounds like your trip was wonderful (shopping, champagne, bathing - spending time with Sam and Chris). Glad you enjoyed it all!

I love that sweater, Beccy!
The Stephanie Plum books are so fun, but beware, they're like potato chips for the brain, you can't stop at one (I think there are 13, 14?)

There are 13 Plum novels total...and I wait with baited breath for the next one. Outlander happens to be my all time favorite book. Great books to get in the swap.

And that cardigan is to die for. Love it!

Beccy, glad to see you got your books and they look great. I love the magnet too!

You certainly fit a lot into less than 2 days.

Okay, what I want to know is, did you cry when you had to say bye to Sam? Because that was a short visit considering you don't see eachother very often.

Believe me, I feel your pain.

Glad you had a wonderful trip.
I just finished reading J.Evanovich's Twelve Sharp. I keep wanting to start at the beginning.
Very funny stories, and quick reads, I think you'll enjoy it!

So glad they arrived safely.

I meant to ask if you'd read Cross Stitch, because in the UK Outlander was published under that name. Also, I concur with debbie..and also add there are very disturbing parts, too.

Glad the magnet found a new home. I'm sure it was made in China, but I really did buy it at the Texas store.

Sounds fantastic! Once again, I wish I could go to these places you go. But thanks to my intense fear of flying, it won't happen.

By the way, LOVE the clothes! I would so wear them. Must buy cute dress and cute cardigan tomorrow.
