A night out

If you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods and fancy a nice Italian I can highly recommend this place soup and I had rocket and . Joules and I had the most delicious meal, for starters Joules had tomato and mozzarellaParmesan salad. We followed this with veal and Italian garlic potatoes (Joules) and spinach and ricotta ravioli served in a tomato sauce all washed down with a bottle of white wine. Then we had one of many pubs in Dalkey to choose from for a few drinks before getting the train home.

Glad you and Joules had a night out. Meal sounds good. Did Dillon babysit?

whenever you put the word"garlic" with "potatoes," i'm there. actually, just garlic alone would do the trick.

I would love to visit your neck of the woods...tomorrow. But alas, work calls.

The trouble with reading blogs first thing in the morning is that so many of them deal with food, and it just sets me up to fail on the Weight Watchers for the day.

Okay, I'm making excuses. I fail myself. The food reading is only a small part of it. But oh, I'm like Laurie, garlic + potatoes = OMG, I HAVE NO POINTS LEFT FOR THE DAY!!

i agree garlic potatoes are so yummy. or just plain garlic, however, it makes me want to visit so so badly! i've been across the border to Toronto in Canada, but that's it. I've seen a lot of the US but something pulls at me to go to Ireland. My ancestry is mostly Irish so maybe that is it.

I stayed in The Dalkey Island hotel in 1989, just down the road from Bono's mansion!

It was Hellojed.

Dillon did, we were home shortly after midnight.

Laurie, I helped myself to quite a few off his plate, luckily they gave him loads.

mjd, maybe some other time.

Marmite Breath those potatoes are so worth the points.

Maybe you'll get here one day Jill.

Only one bottle of wine but lots of vodka before and after Sam!

I went to a wedding in the Dalkey Island hotel John, it's apartments now. I live down from Bono's house the other way!

I was sad when I realized by "a nice Italian" you only meant food. :( :)~
