The final results.

Lots of news and so little time...

Lost the ladies semi, the better players definitely won on the night. Lost the final of the mixed, 3-6-7 5 7-5 we should of won and were serving for the match twice but it wasn't to be ours this year. Saturday night was great fun, the theme was James Bond so all the men dressed in tuxedos and looked stunning (even the 17 and 18 year old players dressed up). The ladies were in their glad rags, I wore an old evening dress of mums and a good night was had by all. I drank far too much champagne, danced all night, the bar ran out of wine and vodka and I stumbled home at 6am.

At least you got to the finals, and like you said there's always next year! Your night sounds amazing - only leaving when the booze runs out - result!

Wow, you're now an honorary bloke! That's some staying power. Don't worry about losing, in both cases it was the partners' fault anyway!

SIX AM?????

Last party I went to I only managed about 3.30 - and that was a bit late for me.

PS - there is no such thing as TOO MUCH CHAMPAGNE!

(Note to self - must get around to joining a tennis club - sounds wild.)

"I've never been up this early before, but I've stayed up this late before."

or is it:

"I've never been up this late before, but I've stayed up this early before."

Glad you had fun with the tennis. Are you watching the U.S. Open?
