Yikes, that's so disgusting! I have very clear ideas about what should be done to people like this, which I will leave to the imagination.

OMG!! I was shocked. We hear it all the time of so many like this creature here too but never met or came across one so far.
It's scary. Just looking at these kind of people ,you just never suspect them at all!!!

The awful thing is that everyone loved Mr Flavin. He was pulling the wool over a lot of eyes. He was one of the popular teachers, and there weren't many of those, were there?

This is a great shame indeed.

HA! I went to a catholic school at a time when all the teachers were clergy. It's only newsworthy if one of them is found not guilty of paedophilia.

That would be so weird to know that a teacher you had did that! I wonder if things like this happened a lot always and we just hear about it more nowadays than we used to.

And call me stupid but he was convicted of "buggery" I'm clueless as to what that it, a typo?

Oh, are you feeling better?

Thank God he was caught. The lives of those boys have been ruined forever.

'Little Chef' is Chefs little brother!

I'm also on Facebook. I'll send you and invite, too.

Glad you're not feeling blue anymore and back on your feet.

Things like this make me feel ill, I don't know how people can do that to a child, especially those in a position of trust. At least he can't hurt anyone else now.

Yikes. When I read the article, it sounds like that guy has some real problems. Glad he's not in the school system anymore.

That's so scary. Just makes me want to repeat what I said in my last comment: I dread my Punkin starting school.

I'd have to kill someone if those were my boys.

today at work a young woman was telling me about one of her college groups - all women. More than half had been sexually abused or assaulted.

We need to watch our children - and listen, too.
