Mum is the host this week and wants to look at our aprons. I think she chose this challenge to catch me out but about three months ago I finally grew up (a bit) and realised that it was easier to wear an apron than have to wash all my clothes every time I whipped up
Unlike my mother I do not have any decorative tea towels and only a few working tea towels, I use the dishwasher and anything that needs hand washing is left to drip dry (I decided this as I wasted many hours drying up as a child because we weren't allowed to leave the dishes to dry)!

NOw that's what I call and apron! If you're going to wear one it might as well cover your clothes properly.
Now that's what I call an apron!
(sorry, I just had to write it without the typos)

We don't have one either, but that's probably because we never cook anything...
Love the polka dots. That is one colorful apron. You could almost wear it as a dress...well, a backless dress.
DubYaT...NOw, just a little anal today are you? OR show I say Now, just a little anal, are you? I love it when someone else is a CaC MUST go back and Correct a Comment.
I love that apron!!!! I do not own one and therefore, always get stuff on my clothes when I cook.
Her indoors, my problem is a complete lack of space, mum's problem too much space to fill and hoard!

Rachel, I used to be like that then I got fed up and bought my apron.
WOW! Awesome apron!!
And Dunnes *sigh*... I love that place. I could spend all day there, and I'm not even a shopper-person. I wish we had them here in the States.
LOVE the red. This apron's kinds funky!

Love it, nice and bright and cheery. I'd love to inherit some gorgeous tea towels, you're lucky!
i like your apron;) i need to break down and buy one one of these days.
I wouldn't have expected anything less from you.
Cute!
if one must wear an apron, then that is the kind to get - vivid and cheerful. I love it!!
So, not wanting to be a party-pooper, here, I popped into Dunnes, bought me a pinny and came home test out my new Digital camera.
(This post is NOT for the faint-hearted)
That is a beautiful apron. It seems you learnt well under your mother's tutelage, even if not what she intended.
Love the apron! Bright and colorful!
So, what is so wrong with drip drying dishes? That's the only way to do it, I say!!
All this apron talk has made me want an apron of my own. Maybe I should start cooking first? ;)
Love the bright red!
Festive and practical--love it!
I too spent many wasted hours as a child drying dishes. My sister would wash and I would wipe. Although I always used to say that she wet and I washed and wiped because she was very careless with her washing.
Love your colorful apron. Looks very good on you.
I don't have very many tea towels. I remember too, my mom setting everything out to dry!!
Happy Monday!
three cheers for another drip dryer.
WT is correct... thats a great apron.
you look so EFFICIENT!
Well, they'll definitely see ya comin'. ;)
Love the polka dots. I just started wearing an apron too. (in fact, whenever I put it on, I get this weird sensation...I don't know how to describe it but it makes me want to bake)
I recently used an apron in our ktichen to perpare food. Mazing the saving on the washing....
