10 things not to do the morning after the bender the night before...

1) Wake up!

2) Be on cleaning up duty at 10am (cleaning the hall used for the bender the night before).

3) Be on tennis mentoring duty from 12.30-2pm against hard hitting 14 year olds.

4) Drop youngest son to a party at 2pm.

5) Drop daughter to a party at 3pm.

6) Collect youngest son from the party at 4pm.

7) Drive to collect take away for dinner (hubby and eldest son were working all day at hubby's work as the business is moving premises, there is no weekend off for hubby so he was unable to join me on Friday night for the aforementioned bender).

8) Take daughter to accident and emergency to get her wrist and elbow x-rayed as she fell at the aforementioned party and couldn't move her arm which was badly swollen.

9) Collect eldest son and friends from a gig at 10:30pm.

10) Stay up reading when you should be tucked up, fast asleep in bed!

Doing anything whilst hungover should be illegal! Hope you had a great time getting that way though; and hope your daughter is feeling better today. A&E is another circle of hell entirely...

wow- that is a lot for a day without a hangover!

what were you celebrating? or was it just a lot of drinking?

Busy day ,Beccy!I hope you have on Monday a quiet day!

oh dear, I feel nauseous just thinking about all that activity. The only thing you should be doing after a bender is lying in bed being brought endless mugs of tea with chocolate flapjacks.

You amd Molloie had another trip to the A&E! I hope the doctors are cute.

I can't even manage all that with no previous evenings carousing.
You are a super woman ...
we should give you a moniker..

Hellojed, A&E was actually very quiet and we were in and out in an hour. Friday night was great fun, it was a fundraising event for the school which I helped to organise.

Frannie, I know and usually Joules is around to help out. I think I was auto pilot and everytime I came home I just lay on the sofa until I had to go back out!

Dad, I'm sure you didn't have as amny party runs as I had!

Mollie is fine Tonys, thankfully it's just badly bruised and swollen not broken.

Laurie, I didn't eat much yesterday I have to admit!

It was a long week John, I had to relax and have some fun!

Mum, I think Mollie is worse than me!

Kila, the arm is still sore but I'm feeling much better today.

Steffi, on Monday I think I need to pay attention to my house and garden!

MTG will you look after me next time, sounds ideal!

Not cute Barbara but yesterday they were really friendly and cheerful. A&E was very quiet.

Bouncin' Beccy Pamela. I wasn't bouncing yesterday more like Bombed Out Beccy.

I agree with Frannie to much for a day without a hangover!

I'm glad Mollie was okay!

I've got a headache just thinking about all that.

Another Mint Mojito please.

We generally fail somewhere around point (1), and even if we wake up, it rarely makes any difference due to being unable to move as a result of serious headache.

Hope you and injured daughter are feeling somewhat better now!

enidd thinks you'll be able to cope with dinner at her place just fine!

I don't think I could've done any of that the day after drinking all night! Hope your daughter is ok!

I hope Mollie is ok.
Kudos to you for even being ABLE to have a little bender, for once!
We forget as we get older how much we pay the next day, I think, because the chances we have to do that are so few and far between!

get mum to mail you a box of Resolve.

Poor Molly's had some bad luck lately! First her foot and now her wrist! Hope all is ok! And here's a trick for your next bender... Drink lots and lots of gatorade the next day. I hope they have gatorade in Ireland now that I've said that to you!

Terri, I agree with you and Frannie!

Karmyn, I can't say that Saturday was my best day!

Much better thank you Mr. X.

h, Mollie is fine, she is still wearing a sling but it looks like no breakages.

Enidd, Beccy is very much looking forward to dinner.

Thanks Rachel, there were moments on Saturday when I doubted I'd get through the day.

You are so right Lisa! At the moment I'm saying never again.

Does it really work Sam?

I'm not sure we have gatorade here Catwoman, the children loved the blue gatorade when we visited the US.
