Aha John and Sally, no they didn't! So after waiting two hours to collect them (I suspect the poor Mum left her radio and/or heater on) flat battery. Her husband had to drive out to jump start her. We'd left at 9.30am and Dillon and Mollie got home at 7pm, exhausted but they enjoyed it.
I hope you had a good book to read!
